95% Training and Support Time (3rd Grade Teachers - Invite Only)

Thank you for selecting 95% for the '24-'25 school year.  This session is designed to train our teachers on the elements of the program.  After the 3-hour virtual training, our professional development team will continue the day with additional time to address questions, practice routines, discuss curriculum maps in more detail, and see your input on professional development needs for the coming school year.  Due to the number of participants, we have reserved both Ortega Conference Center and DO New Board Room.  Please arrive at Ortega Conference Center, and if the location is full, we will direct additional participants to the Board Room.

Day 1-Strategies For Teachers To Help Leverage The Learning Of Second Language Learners (Invite Only)

Attendees will walk out of the session with strategies to implement on day one in their classroom that will engage all learners and specifically help the learning of second-language learners. Incorporating evidence-based insights from the science of teaching and learning, our resources and professional learning services provide classroom teachers and English learner (EL) specialists with strategies and tools to effectively guide their students through each stage of language acquisition on their journey toward fluency.
By aligning instructional practices with research and blending professional wisdom with real world experience, McREL can help you build your students’ resiliency, close achievement gaps, and sustain and honor their home languages and cultures while also increasing their multilingual fluency.
